Stiftskirche Ossiach

In the anniversary year, individual artists and ensembles who/which helped shape the festival over the past four years will be in charge of the traditional Sunday masses at the Abbey Church of Ossiach: The Hörnerklang Alpe Adria group presented the world première of the new Carinthian Water Music by Manuela Kerer in 2018. This year they will present the Great Mass in E flat by composer and master horn player Hans Peter Stinnig. Viennese composer Akos Banlaky has been in charge of the successful concert series presenting Old and new Carinthian songs at the Domenig Stone House since 2016. The Musica Viva Wien choir will sing his Lainz Festive Mass and two motets. The concluding event will be the world première of the new Ossiach Festive Mass by Jury Everhartz, artist in residence of 2019.
