For the fourth time, we are presenting Austrian virtuosos playing on historical instruments from the OeNB Collection in the Stars & Strings series which is organised in cooperation with the Austrian National Bank: The outstanding Minetti Quartet will be joining Fazıl Say in a concert of popular works by Haydn, Beethoven and Schumann and one work composed by the Turkish star pianist himself. For Say, it is a vital part of his life as an artist to express his opinion as a zoon politocon of his day and age: His piano quintet Yürüyen Köşk is dedicated to the founder of the Turkish Republic, Kemal Atatürk.
This concert is supported by the Austrian National Bank.
