Works for violoncello solo by Johann Sebastian Bach, Gaspar Cassadó, Benjamin Britten and Margareta Ferek-Petric – Artist in Residence 2018

The popular Carinthian Music Salons will again take place in 2018. Carinthian families, artists and institutions will open their most beautiful rooms and gardens to the public for concerts in intimate settings.
Curator Barbara Rombach-Kuderna has been out again, scouting for very special new locations: The final recital of the Music Salons will take place at the enchanting Ebenau Castle in the Rosental valley, where a gallery has long been dedicated to exhibits of visual art. This is where Eva Simic-Nemeth, the cello soloist of the Klagenfurter Symphonic Orchestra, will play cello solo works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Benjamin Britten and Gaspar Cassadó. Moreover, she will for the first time ever perform a new composition by Margareta Ferek-Petric, the Artist in Residence of the 2018 Carinthian Summer Festival.
